Fly Mask for Horses Sunny Zebra 70% UV Blocking Breathable Mesh Horse

Description

Product Overview

The Sunny Zebra Fly Mask for Horses is engineered to provide reliable protection against biting insects and harmful ultraviolet radiation while maintaining optimal comfort for the animal. Constructed from a high‑density nylon micro‑mesh, the mask blocks approximately 70% of UV rays and creates a physical barrier that deters flies, gnats, and other pests without restricting the horse’s vision. The mesh is lightweight, breathable, and tear‑resistant, ensuring longevity even under rigorous daily use. Soft fleece padding lines the forehead, nose, and throat area, preventing chafing and rubbing during extended wear. Adjustable elastic straps with dual‑locking buckles allow a customized fit for a wide range of horse head sizes, from ponies to full‑size draft breeds. The mask weighs only 0.31 lb (0.14 kg), making it virtually weightless on the animal’s head. All components are designed for easy removal, cleaning, and re‑assembly, and the package includes a reusable laundry bag made from 100 % plastic‑free material.

Usage

This fly mask is ideal for use in a variety of environments where horses are exposed to insects and intense sunlight. Whether the horse is grazing in a pasture, training in an arena, competing at a show, or traveling on a trail, the mask provides continuous protection. The breathable design prevents heat buildup, allowing the animal to stay cool during hot summer days while still shielding the sensitive skin around the eyes, nose, and ears. The mask’s secure fit makes it suitable for horses that are active, jump, or perform dressage movements, as it stays in place without slipping. It is also an excellent choice for horses with sensitive skin or those prone to allergic reactions, as the soft fleece padding reduces irritation. The mask can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water, then air‑dried, ensuring hygienic reuse throughout the season.

FAQ

How do I determine the correct size for my horse?

Measure from the bridge of the nose to the back of the head, then compare the measurement to the size chart provided in the product listing. The mask is designed to fit a range of head sizes, and the adjustable straps allow fine‑tuning for a snug yet comfortable fit.

Can the mask be used in rainy or wet conditions?

Yes. The nylon micro‑mesh dries quickly and the fleece padding is water‑resistant. After use in wet conditions, simply wipe the mask clean and allow it to air‑dry before storing it in the provided laundry bag.

Is the mask suitable for horses with allergies or skin sensitivities?

Absolutely. The fleece padding is hypoallergenic and the breathable mesh reduces moisture buildup, minimizing the risk of skin irritation. Many owners of horses with known sensitivities report positive results.

How often should I clean the mask?

We recommend cleaning the mask after each week of use, or sooner if it becomes visibly soiled. Use a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let it air‑dry completely before the next use.

What is the warranty or return policy?

Sunny Zebra offers a 30‑day satisfaction guarantee. If the mask arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations, contact our support team for a replacement or refund in accordance with Amazon’s return policies.
